A black and bloody Irish Comedy, 'Six Shooter' was nominated for a BAFTA in 2005 and went on to win a further four awards on the international film circuit.

Editing - A Short Film Masterclass
Taking examples from her new feature film 'Breaking and Entering', Lisa described her experiences in the cutting room and provided hints and tips as to how you can make the best of your short film. She also outlined how to create an emotional response from your audience via story structure: how to utilise pauses, repetition and circularity and ultimately engage the audience through the art of cutting and shaping scenes.
Written and directed by film industry heavyweight Anthony Minghella, starring Jude Law, 'Breaking and Entering' went on general release on 10 November, 2006.

This workshop, for novice filmmakers, provided a complete step-by-step overview of the filmmaking process. Starting with the script, attendees learned how to find an original idea that works for such a small time frame. Moving onto preparation, they discovered the joys of storyboards and finding actors and great locations for free. Then it was time to learn how to shoot it, and how to find a camera and make the best of it. Finally, they learned how to finish their masterpiece - editing, and the layering of sound and music. Alongside the resources and software available on the Internet, this workshop taught attendees all they needed to know on how to make their film for free.
Working With Actors - A Short Film Masterclass
A great director must be accomplished in many things: an absolute command over the language of film and an instinctive feel for camera angles is fundamental. However even the most stunning beauty shot means little if the performance is flawed.
In this masterclass, twice BAFTA-nominated short film director Toby MacDonald, revealed his methods for attaining the optimal performance from his cast.
Toby is a true master in the short film genre, his shorts have won awards at Berlin International Film Festival, European Film Awards, and the London Film Festival.
