Actor Sir Ben Kingsley is probably best-known for his portrayal of Mahatma Gandhi in the 1982 film ‘Gandhi’, for which he won two BAFTA awards and an Oscar for Best Actor. He was knighted in 2001. Further credits include Sexy Beast (2000) and the role of Fagin in ‘Oliver Twist’ (2005).
