Ensuring that our employees get the most out of their careers with Orange means giving them a voice and listening to what they have to say.
consultation and surveys
Openly providing information and enabling discussion on employment topics that are of concern or interest to our employees has always been important to us. We believe that listening to our people, and considering issues and suggestions made, is an integral part of how we can best achieve overall and lasting business success. To encourage two-way discussions between management and employees, we hold regular meetings both at national and local level.
Our National Employee Consultative Forum aims to enhance the relationship between employees and management and enable both parties to accept change and the need for change. Issues discussed include business performance, proposed company-wide restructuring and workforce plans, and health and safety issues. The Local Employee Consultative Forums play an essential part in ensuring that all employees have a voice and that they are consulted on matters relevant to their current working environment within Orange.
We also carry out employee-wide surveys called People Polls. These surveys measure levels of employee engagement and leadership effectiveness. They give employees the opportunity to voice their opinions about what it's like to work at Orange, and help management take action to improve our employees' experience.
