Phishing attack
Please be aware that it has come to our attention that some consumers have received emails pretending to be from their mobile network provider asking them to confirm their password details.
Orange will not ask for sensitive personal information (such as passwords, credit card, bank account numbers, etc.) in an email.
This means that if...
the email has any kind of form or links them to a form that requires them to enter their User ID, password, credit/debit card or account details (and sometimes Social Security and card PIN Numbers)
then...
it is NOT a genuine email, it is a spoof.
If you receive one of these emails you should delete it immediately.
If you have given any sensitive details about their Orange account in response to an e-mail then please contact Orange to update your security information immediately.
You should also ensure that you have adequate security software installed on their PC. If you require more details on security settings you should contact your Internet Service Provider.
