With an Orange phone it's easy to have a conversation by sending text messages.

A text message is a warm and personal way to communicate. It's quick and easy, and can reach anyone with a mobile phone. You can even text internationally. If you have a Photo Messaging phone, you can attach pictures to text messages to tell the whole story.

Text messages are only 10p each, but pay monthly customers can get even better value by buying a Text Message bundle. Bundles of 30, 60 120 or 360 text messages per month are available, and save you 33%.

You can use your Orange phone to access Relay Assist, the new operator service from RNID. Typetalk™ allows users to contact an operator who will then place the call.

Customers using the service will be asked to confirm their details and then be connected to the person they wish to call. The operator will then translate between text and speech as required.

email via your phone

We give our pay monthly customers the ability to listen to their emails over the phone. Just set up an email account* and you can then set up text alerts of new emails. When you receive a text alert simply call your Answer Phone and select the option to listen to your emails. This service costs just 20p per minute.
