POP3 explained

POP3 (Post Office Protocol 3) allows you to send and receive emails on POP3-enabled phones and devices.
When setting up email on your phone, you’ll need your email username and password and your POP3 and SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) server details. It sounds a bit complicated, but it’s not really:
Simply, POP3 allows your phone to receive emails and SMTP means it can send emails.

For Orange Email, the POP3 and SMTP server details are pop.orange.net and smtp.orange.net.

Most Internet Service Providers (ISPs) use POP3 and SMTP, but their details won’t be the same as ours. Your ISP should be able to tell you what they are.

If you have an Orange Email account then things are much simpler: all you have to do to see your email details, including your username and password, is click here.
