- What are calling tunes?
-
They are pieces of music or sound that can be played to callers alongside the normal ring
ring while they wait for you to answer your phone.
You can set up a default track for all callers or choose specific tunes for individuals.
There's something to suit everyone including the hottest urban, dance and chart hits, film and TV themes, chillout sounds and wind-ups.
- How do I buy calling tunes?
-
You can buy a Calling Tune via Orange World on your wap phone or by calling
477 and following the simple instructions.
Once your request is complete, the Calling Tune will be made available within minutes. You can then set your Calling Tune for all or some of your callers to listen to. You can try the service for free the first time you use it by choosing a tune from a special selection either on Orange World or by calling 477 on your Orange phone. To take advantage of this offer, the free tune must be the first you select.
- How long does a calling tune last?
-
You can play your calling tune indefinitely as long as you remain an Orange Customer, you pay your £1.00 per month playing fee for the service and keep the same number, unless you were told otherwise at the time of purchase, or Orange decide to remove it from the Calling Tunes Service for legal or rights reasons. If so we may offer You replacement Calling Tunes to the same value of the Calling Tune which is removed.
If you decide to stop using the service ( ie: go back to the normal 'Ring Ring' tone for your callers ) you will lose all the calling tunes you have previously purchased.
- How do I remove a calling tune from my account?
- You can remove a tune either through the Settings option on Orange World, or by calling 477 and selecting option 3. You can either choose to swop the tune so that it no longer plays when you are called and is stored in your album, or if you like you can delete it from your album.
- Compatible Phones
- Calling tunes are compatible with all handsets currently available in the UK.
- How do I choose who hears my calling tune?
- You can set a Calling Tune as a default option that is heard by all callers, or set up specific tracks for individual callers.
