What is mobile TV?
mobile TV gives you easy access to a range of top quality TV channels on your phone via Orange World. There's no application to install and it's available on most 3G phones, whether you're a pay monthly or pay as you go customer. Just go to the TV and Video section on Orange World to subscribe or try the service for free.

- Some of our channels are the same as you'll see on your home TV. Others have been created especially for mobile phones - some show the same programmes as on TV but at different times, and others show programmes that have been specifically made for mobile phones.

- There isn't a published schedule for each programme on each channel, but if you visit Orange World you'll find mobile TV highlights and channel information.
- Which phones can I get mobile TV on?
- You can get mobile TV on most 3G handsets, and we're continuously working to expand the range of compatible handsets. See our latest compatible handsets.
- mobile TV isn't working properly. What's wrong?
- For mobile TV to work, you need to have 3G coverage. Check your phone is displaying the 3G icon.
- Why are there sometimes short breaks in the sound or picture?
- mobile TV delivers TV content to your phone over cellular networks, which are interrupted now and again. So you might occasionally get short breaks in the sound or picture as a result of normal network traffic, in the same way calls are occasionally interrupted. This is normal, and should quickly recover.
- Why does my screen suddenly turn dark?

This is part of your phone's energy-saving settings - if you haven't pressed any keys for a while, it turns off your screen's backlight. To keep the backlight on, you just need to alter your phone's display settings:
- select Tools and choose Settings
- choose Phone and select Light time out
- press Options and then Change
- What's happened to the previous mobile TV?
- This version of Orange TV is an improved offering and is accessed via Orange World, making it available on a wider range of 3G phones. The previous offering featured a range of TV channels via a downloadable application powered by MobiTV.
