Soundmate from Orange is a simple accessory that makes digital phones accessible
to people who use a hearing aid and with the wireless earpiece is ideal for those
who wish to communicate handsfree.
Soundmate reduces the interference experienced when using a digital phone with a
hearing aid. It works with any hearing aid that has a T position switch. The
microphone lead clips to a jacket or shirt and using induction loop technology
transmits magnetic waves to the hearing aid, so that the user can hear without
any of the normal interference that digital phones cause.
The earpiece is tiny. There are no wires to catch on clothing enabling you to
communicate handsfree and discreetly. It is less visible than ordinary handsfree kits.
To purchase Orange Soundmate, you must have an Orange phone.
To join Orange simply select a phone of your
choice and a Service Plan.
Terms and Conditions:
Soundmate is currently only compatible with phones that have a 2.5 mm jack socket as
found on many Motorola or Trium phones. Whilst Soundmate will work with other phones
with an appropriate connector, use of such a connector could invalidate your warranty
in the case of damage. For reasons of hygiene, Orange regrets that it cannot offer a
refund on the earpiece. This does not affect your statutory rights.
