payment cards and children

Often, adult content is intentionally restricted to adults by demanding credit card payment.

However, some cards are available to children, and can be used to access this type of content. In particular, Solo and Visa Electron can be use by children as young as 11, depending on the card and the supporting bank.

Of course, it’s also possible to buy things with a parent’s credit card, or by using phone credit. But it’s worth checking whether your children have the kind of payment cards that can be used to access inappropriate material.
