how many tracks are available in the Nokia Music Store?
Nokia has signed agreements with all four Major Music Labels (Sony/BMG, Universal, EMI & Warner) as well as many independent/smaller labels. Nokia predicts that at anytime they have in excess of 98% chart coverage, and have up to five million tracks available for download.
how long can I keep the music I download?
You can have unlimited downloads for the duration of the license, and can download the same track time after time if they wish. However once the license runs out, you'll then be charged for additional downloads, although you'll be able to keep all downloaded tracks.
can I put the music I download on more than one handset?
No, all tracks downloaded from Nokia Music Store with the CRM license will be totally DRM (Digital Rights Managed), meaning that you can't share the tracks with any other PC, laptop or handset. Additionally the tracks can't be loaded to another music player, ie iPod. This also means that you aren't able to burn these tracks to a CD.
what if I get a new laptop/PC?
You can contact Nokia to have your license transferred to a new PC/laptop, but you'll lose the license for your old PC/laptop.
