codes of practice

Regulations apply to the promotion, content and overall operation of premium rate services, taking account of those who may be especially vulnerable, particularly children. Therefore, before any service can be provided, it is important that you ensure compliance with the PhonepayPlus Code of Practice (Eleventh Edition) as well as any other Codes of Practice relevant to your service, and other statutory or regulatory requirements.

For your assistance Orange has provided links to a number of industry organisations, industry bodies and other authorities which it may be useful to refer to when establishing a premium rate service. Please note that these links may be changed at any time, and are not under the control of Orange.

Orange is not able to advise you on these issues and you may wish to consult a professional on any statutory or regulatory matters that may affect your business.
