MMS

richer content

MMS brings richness to messaging, allowing you to send customers photos, sound and text all in the same message. You can also receive MMS messages from your customers, and initiate a wap session allowing for even greater interaction.

Multimedia messages can be sent to all MMS customers on the Orange network, both prepay and contract, as well as all other UK operators.

All short codes can be made available cross network. You can also harmonise your service with a voice or SMS short code, allowing a single call to action that can enhance your marketing productivity.
key features
Orange MMS gives you the following benefits -
premium rate two way messaging (MO and MT) for both prepay and contract customers
on-network and off-network message delivery
IP connectivity to the Orange MMS network
a range of MO and MT customer price points between £0 and £5
revenue share for messages sent to / received from Orange customers
cross network short codes available
available on wholesale and premium revenue share agreements
management reporting on MMS traffic
aggregators
To enable all the UK's mobile customers to access MMS services via a single short code, providers need to arrange a connection with each operator. This is done via a direct connection or indirectly via an aggregator. Feel free to contact Orange to discuss this further. For a list of aggregators click here.

codes of practice
IMPORTANT - Regulations apply to premium rate services. Prior to taking any action it is important that you ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations including Data Protection legislation, the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, the ICSTIS Code of Practice, and others.

Orange is not able to advise you on these issues and you may wish to consult a professional on any statutory or regulatory matters that may affect your business.
