If you're struggling to top up your phone, help is always at hand. Here are some FAQ's (including the answers!).
I'm abroad, how do I top up my phone?
If in the mad dash to get out of the door, you forget to top up, don't panic - you can top up abroad in the following ways:
  1. Simply call +44 7973 100 450 (you'll need the full number including international dialling code) to top up with a credit/debit card. You may need to add a card to your account if you've not topped up this way before.

    You can then top up by text to save calling us.

  2. Login at your hotel or visit an internet café and top up online through Your Account
Also, make sure that you check whether you can use your phone abroad and top up before you go. You'll need to check whether your phone is set up for 'roaming' by calling 450 from your Orange phone (or 07973 100 450 from any other phone).
And when you're there, don't worry about calling home to let them know you're safe and sound. You can now text in Europe for only 10p. So using your phone won't cost you the earth.
If you're on a Dolphin or Canary animal plan, remembering to top up guarantees that you get your free minutes, texts or music for when you get back.

Simply call our technical experts on 439 from your Orange phone (or 07973 100 439 from any other phone) who can help you sign up to Your Account.
my credit/debit card has expired, how do I update my details?
Simply login to Your Account at orange.co.uk/youraccount and click on 'top up & Extras' and then 'manage your nominated credit or debit cards'. Or call us on 450 from your Orange phone (or 07973 100 450 from any other phone).
what's a swipe card and how do I use it?
We may have given you a swipe card when you bought your phone from us (it's the same size as a credit card). It's another way that you can top up your phone when you're out shopping.

If you'd like to use it instead of buying vouchers, you'll need to activate it (if you or the Sales Agent hasn't already done so). Call 450 from your Orange phone (or 07973 100 450 from any other phone) or go online at orange.co.uk/youraccount.

To top up, all you need to do is visit an Orange Shop or any other shop that displays the green top up logo and hand over your payment with your swipe card. The Sales Agent will then swipe your card and apply the credit onto your phone and you're ready to go.

And if you lose your swipe card, simply visit any Orange shop to get another one (remember to delete the old one and add the new one to your account).
can I top up at an ATM?
The simple answer is yes! You can use any of the 43,000 ATMs which display the green top up logo. Simply insert your card and type in your PIN as normal - a top up option should appear on the main menu.

Select 'Orange' and choose the amount you wish to top up by: £10, £15, £20, £30, £40 or £50. Type in the Orange mobile phone number you want to top up (you'll be asked to type it in again to verify it).

You'll then be given a receipt to confirm that the credit has been added to your phone.
what other benefits do I get for topping up my phone?
