Call Abroad SIM

Just so you know, we're making a small change to your plan, from 1 October 2007 the cost of calling your answer phone will change from 10p to 15p per minute.

With the Call Abroad SIM you can make International calls at fantastic prices. All the countries plus costs are below

UK call costs

International call costs

1. The Call Abroad SIM tariff is open to Orange pay as you go customers who have registered their phone with Orange.
2. Existing customers can request the Call Abroad SIM tariff by calling 450 and changing their existing tariff. Once you have joined Call Abroad SIM tariff you will only be able to switch to a tariff currently available and may not be able to return to your previous tariff.
3. New customers must call 0800 079 0004 to register for the Call Abroad SIM. Prior to registration, customers are on the Anytime Fixed Rates tariff. Details of the call rates are at www.orange.co.uk/callabroad
4. Call Abroad SIM customers will be eligible to participate in the following products and/or promotions:
   • Magic Number.
   • All Extras, other than the IDD Extras.
   • Your Group.
5. Save as set out above, Call Abroad SIM customers are not eligible to participate in other rewards or promotions, including bonus top up rewards and Try IDD.
6. Any rewards you have accumulated prior to joining the Call Abroad SIM tariff will remain on your account for the duration of that reward's period other than the Use 10 and Get 5, Textsaver and Orange Out Here rewards which will be removed on switching to the Call Abroad SIM tariff.
7. Minimum call charge is 15p for all non-IDD calls.
8. IDD calls to standard numbers in the countries listed at www.orange.co.uk/callabroad will be charged in one minute increments.
9. Calls to satellite phones charged at standard international rates.
10. IDD calls to countries not listed at www.orange.co.uk/callabroad and national calls will be charged per second.
11. IDD calls to premium rate numbers in the countries listed at www.orange.co.uk/callabroad will be charged at the existing IDD rates for that international zone and not the Call Abroad rates.
12. Calls to Customer Services will be charged 70p per call.
13. Call Abroad SIM customers are not entitled to reserve calls.
14. Call Abroad SIM packs must be registered within 2 months of dispatch. Call Abroad SIM packs are strictly for personal use and must not be used for commercial purposes. The resale of Call Abroad SIM packs in strictly prohibited. Orange reserves the right to refuse connection of the SIM if it believes that the Call Abroad SIM pack is being or may be used in breach of this provision.
15. Orange reserves the right to amend or vary these terms and conditions or to withdraw this tariff at any time on reasonable notice.
16. Service is subject to the Terms and Conditions for the supply of Orange pay as you go Services and the Standard Terms and Conditions for the Supply of Orange Network Services, a copy of which can be found at the back of your Orange phone User guide or SIM pack. Where there is any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and the foregoing terms, the Standard Terms will prevail.
17. Orange will make best endeavours to ensure that all international prefixes are rated correctly. However due to the frequency of some international prefix changes this process may take 1 month to update

Mob Mates

Just so you know, we're making a small change to your pay as you go plan from 1 October 2007 the cost of calling your answer phone will change from 10p to 15p per minute. But don't forget, if you top up by £10 or more in a month then the cost of calling your answer phone is free.

With Mob Mates you can text and talk to your mates for 2p. All the details are below

1. Mob Mates is available to:
   • New customers who sign up at www.mobmates.co.uk and register their new PAYG SIM on Mob Mates
   • All existing Orange PAYG customers who change tariff at www.mobmates.co.uk and who satisfy the following requirements:
     1. Have not changed tariff in the past 30 days
     2. Have a valid Orange PAYG account
2. To receive the Mob Mates benefits (the "Reward") you must top-up by a minimum of £10 a month. Your Reward depends on your total top-ups in the previous month as set out below:

   Reward 1	2p calls and texts to Mob Mates	2p calls and texts to Mob Mates	N/A
   Reward 2	Free voicemail	Free voicemail
   Reward 3	1st 5 texts sent in a day for free

3. Reward 1 is for person to person calls and texts whilst you are in the UK to Mob Mates in the UK only. Reward 2 is free retrieval of Answer Phone messages from your mobile phone within the UK. Reward 3 is for standard person to person text messages to any UK mobile phone network, whilst within the UK. Unused texts will expire at the end of each day.
4. If you do not top up by £10 a month, and for all other calls and texts the following rates apply:
   • 10p per minute to Orange Mobiles
   • 25p per minute to landlines
   • 40p per minute to other mobile networks
   • 10p texts (to all mobile networks)
   • 15p per minute to answer phone
   • 30p photo messaging
   • 50p video messaging
5. If your top-up amount is less than £10 by the end of your monthly period, you will go onto daily analysis. When you top-up by a minimum of £10 since the end of your last monthly period, the Reward earned will be applied within 5-12 hours. If your on daily analysis but don't top-up by £10 by the end of the following monthly period, then the accumulated top-up amount is reset to zero.
6. All calls whilst on Mob Mates are subject to a 5p minimum charge.
7. The monthly period during which top-ups accumulate (the "Month Period") starts on the date the Reward is applied to your account. Each Month Period runs from 00.00.00 on the first day of the Month Period to 23.59.59 on the last day of the Month Period. At the end of the Month Period we calculate your Reward. Where the Reward is applied on the 29th, 30th or 31st day of a month, the Month Period will run from the 28th of each month.
8. Orange will inform you by text when you qualify for the Reward. At all other times calls, texts and Answer Phone retrieval will be charged at the standard rates. Rewards will be added to your account within 24 hours, but can be up to 72 hours.
9. Top-ups in one Month Period will not carry over to the next Month Period.
10. The first 3,000 existing customers who have the Reward applied to their account, and invite 3 friends to join Mob Mates on www.mobmates.co.uk will receive 600 free texts. The first 3,000 new customers who have the Reward applied to their account will receive 600 free texts The 600 free texts are for standard person to person text messages to any UK mobile phone network, whilst within the UK and will be given to the relevant customers in the first month of joining Mob Mates. Unused free texts will expire at the end of the Month Period.
11. If as an existing customer, you switch to Mob Mates, you will not be able to return to your old tariff if it's no longer available. You can only able to switch to tariffs currently available.
12. If as an existing customer, you switch to Mob Mates any top-ups made in the last month will count towards achieving the Reward. Any rewards you may have earned prior to joining Mob Mates will remain on your account for the duration of their original reward period.
13. Mob Mates customers will be eligible to participate in the following products and/or promotions:
    • 'Call Me Back Text'
    • All Extras. Text Extras with a duration of 1 month will be used before the free 600 text promotion. Text Extras with a shorter duration than 1 month will be used after the free 600 text promotion.
    • Magic Number. Magic Number rates will take priority over Mob Mates rates eg. if a Mob Mates customer calls another Mob Mates customer who is also their Magic Number, the call is charged 15p for up to an hour (not 2p a minute). If an existing customer switches to Mob Mates then their existing Magic number will remain unchanged.
14. Apart from the products and promotions above, or as otherwise specified, Mob Mates is not available in conjunction with any other reward or promotion.
15. For pay monthly customers wishing to join Mob Mates, you must fulfill the remainder of your pay monthly contracts before applying to join Mob Mates.
16. For new customers, Mob Mates is limited to one Mob Mates SIM pack per household.
17. For new customers, the Mob Mates SIM pack will be dispatched within 21 days of processing your order.
18. For new customers, the Mob Mates SIM must be registered within 2 months of dispatch.
19. Mob Mates SIM packs ordered via www.mobmates.co.uk are strictly for personal use only and must not be used for commercial purposes. The resale of the Mob Mates SIM packs is strictly prohibited. Orange reserves the right to refuse connection of the SIM if it believes that the Mob Mates SIM pack is being or to be used in breach of this provision.
20. Orange reserves the right to amend or vary these terms and conditions or to withdraw Mob Mates or any aspect of the Reward at any time on reasonable notice.
21. Orange reserves the right to increase the cost of both per minute call charges and minimum call costs. Any increases will be posted on the website. Once any increase has commenced, you will be deemed to accept these changes if you continue to use Orange Services.
22. Service is subject to the Standard Terms and Conditions for the Supply of Orange Pay as you go Services and Standard Terms and Conditions for the Supply of Orange Network Services, a copy of which can be found at the back of your Orange phone User Guide or SIM pack. Where there is any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and the aforementioned terms, the Standard Terms will prevail.
